Come and Enjoy a Variety of Winter Sports
in the Finger Lakes Region

 Winter will soon be here and so will snow ski and snowboarding season.   Vintage Gardens is just minutes away from two great New York winter sports centers offering some great winter fun.  There are miles of groomed trails for skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, and snowmobiling with ample room for every skill level.

Brantling www.brantling.com  offers 10 slopes and trails serviced by 6 lifts and are known for its great family atmosphere.  Ski at night too!  Ask us about having a comfort food dinner waiting for you when you return to Vintage Gardens.

Also a few more minutes away, Bristol Mountain www.bristolmountain.com offers 33 slopes and trails.  They plan to open November 27, 2009 snow permitting!

For the fisherman Ice fishing is allowed on many of the Finger Lakes and is usually at its peak from January through March. Winter anglers catch a variety of fish, primarily perch, sunfish, pickerel, northern pike, and walleye. Popular locations for ice fishing are: Honeoye Lake one of New York Game and Fish’s top ten hot spots for Ice-fishing www.newyorkgameandfish.com and Sodus Bay on Lake Ontario www.soduspointfishing.com which is located just minutes from Vintage Gardens and is the largest bay on Lake Ontario. This lovely area, often called “The Crown Jewel of Lake Ontario,” and known for its’ excellent fishing for lake, brown and rainbow trout, salmon and steelhead, perch and walleye.  Ice fishing is a popular winter sport on the bay.

Fall and Winter Wedding Special

We offer an elegant event venue and can accommodate an intimate wedding in our 1840’s Vintage Bed & Breakfast.  Our common areas are beautifully appointed, and provide an intimate and comfortable environment for your special event. We can accommodate an Indoor Weddings up to 20 people during the cold weather season and Garden weddings during the colorful Fall weather permitting.

The wedding couple will have the private use of Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast the day of the wedding and late check-out the next day. We also offer a reduced rate for your wedding guests if you choose to reserve a room for them at Vintage Gardens. 

Our Winter Wedding Package is $900 and New York requires that we charge an additional 8% sales tax for all events. 

Intimate Fall or Winter Wedding Package                                       $900

v     20 guests maximum

v     One hour rehearsal time (date and time to be mutually agreed upon).

v     Use of Sunroom, Parlor, Library and 2^nd floor guest bathroom for ceremony.

v     Massage for the Bride (at local salon).

v     Basket of Vintage Gardens bath products for the Bride

v     Hors d’oeuvres, sparkling beverage and coffee for Bridal Party before wedding.

v     Gift bag of Vintage Gardens bath products for each bridesmaid (up to 2 bridesmaids).

v     One night’s accommodations for Bride and Groom in the Asian Lily Suite this includes a gourmet breakfast the next morning.

v     Location for 2 hour engagement photo shoot (date and time to be mutually agreed upon).

v     Area for light reception

v     20 folding chairs, 2 8ft. tables and one 4ft. table, Set-up and teardown.

v     Ivory linen table cloths for tables listed above.

v     Private Event Parking (located two short blocks from ceremony site)

v     On-Site Parking for Bride and Groom

v     One staff member to coordinate the rehearsal and wedding day events.

The cost of holding an intimate wedding ceremony at Vintage Gardens is $900 for weddings with 1-20 guests.  This fee includes time for a 2 hour photo shoot prior to wedding (date and time to be mutually agreed upon), and 5 hours total for the wedding rehearsal, ceremony and reception.  The maximum number of guests allowed is 20 people.

*Vintage Gardens only allows unamplified music in gardens for the event.
