A touch of Asian decor accents this beautiful room located on the second floor of Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast. Adorned with antique furnishings, a queen canopy bed and an electric fireplace set the mood for romantic vacations and weekend getaways in the Finger Lakes. Calming earth-tone colors with brown carpeting in the bedroom and wood-tone vinyl flooring in the bathroom offer a warm, quiet relaxing atmosphere.
Named after the Asian Lily flower, this guest room includes several pieces of Asian influence artwork including two etchings by J.D. Mayhew a well-known California wildlife artist, a two-sided painted panel of a Phoenix and Geisha all made of painted dots by another California artist. An antique oriental wedding closet is available to hang clothing, and two vintage oak dressers offer plenty of drawer space to store clothing and personal items. A loveseat with paisley print folds out to a very comfortable twin sleeper, ready for guests to use. Cable TV, DVD, Wi-Fi and a refrigerator are included in your room. In the summer, the guests have private use of an in-room air conditioner.
Your private bath has an extra-large claw-foot bathtub and separate shower. Locally made organic soaps, blow dryer, plush robes and a convenience box, in case you forgot a toiletry, are available.
This guest room looks over the large backyard and woodland area. Guests often see small animals including woodchucks, squirrels, chipmunks, turkeys and a variety of song birds. In the early summer, we often see deer and newborn fawns frolicking on the lawn.
