This charming second-floor room at our B&B provides lovely accommodations for relaxing vacations and weekend getaways in Upstate New York. Named after one of the original Jackson and Perkins Company roses, the American Beauty room boasts woodland views, inlaid hardwood floors, colorful red wallpaper with white roses, and walls adorned with black and white photographs.

This room sleeps two with a queen-size antique replica, four-post iron bed with a comfortable pillow-top mattress, top quality sheets, soft bedding, extra pillows and blankets. A custom oak cabinet holds cable TV, DVD, Wi-Fi and a refrigerator. In the summer, the guests have private use of an in-room air conditioner, and in winter an electric fireplace. A vintage oak armoire is available to hang clothing, and an oak vanity with mirror offers a place to sit and plenty of drawer space to store personal items.

This room shares a large bath with the English Tea Rose Room.  The large bath has vintage marble tile floors and includes a tub with shower. Locally made organic soaps, blow dryer, plush robes and a convenience box, in case you forgot a toiletry, are available, and extra towels are always stocked for guest use.
