A getaway spent at Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast in Newark, NY is a relaxing alternative to hotel lodging in the Finger Lakes region. Full of windows, this second-floor sun-warmed room has antique oak furnishings, a queen-size bed and views of the formal rose garden and fountain. Named after one of the world’s most famous rose types, the English Tea Rose room is one of our guests’ favorites, and in the spring, guests can look out the windows at the beautiful pink blossoms of our ornamental cherry trees.
This room sleeps two with a queen-size antique replica, iron bed with a comfortable pillow-top mattress, top-quality sheets, soft bedding, extra pillows and blankets. A full closet and two antique dressers offer plenty of drawer space to store your personal items. Vintage lighting illuminates this room in the evenings. A custom oak cabinet holds cable TV, DVD, Wi-Fi and a refrigerator. In the summer, the guests have private use of an in-room air conditioner, and in winter an electric fireplace. This room shares a large bath with the American Beauty Room. The bath has vintage marble tile floors and includes a tub with shower. Locally made organic soaps, blow dryer, plush robes and a convenience box, in case you forgot a toiletry, are available. Extra towels are always stocked for guest use.
